Hello.
My name is Johniece "Joni", I was born and raised in Racine, WI. on March 6. 1995. My parents are Kimberly and Maurice. I'm the oldest of all of my sibilings, my mother has 9 children but one passed away back in 2007 and my father has one other daughter besides me. All of my life I have been living with my grandmother, except for when I moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana with my mom for about a year and a half. After that I went back home to my grandmother. Growing up I loved to dance, dance was all around me. When I was 3 years old I was apart of my churches praise and worship dance team. I had a passion for dancing so I continued dancing and in the 8th grade I became captain of the dance group I was in called, "Unfinished Business" which came after the group "Sisters Of Color" (the dance team my mom was apart of before they were caught in a tornado in Illinois and majority of the team was hospitalized.) The dance group lasted all the way to my senior year of high school because the girls no longer wanted to dance, they preferred to chase after the guys instead. We had lots of fun during the time we were together because, we performed in many places for numerous people. Another thing I enjoy doing is running track. I ran track my sophomore, junior and senior year of high school, and I loved it. I ran open 400's & 800's and 4*4 (1600 meter relay) & 4*8 (3200 meter relay). Sometimes I wish I would have ran as a freshman but I was too scared and shy to do anything. I thought I would be terrible and no one would want me on the team. When I actually tried it, I realized I was better than I thought. Now that I'm in college, I run cross country, I enjoy it but not as much as I did running track. Hopefully we can start up a track and dance team.
